Blemish removal using cryotherapy is the use of extreme cold to freeze and remove abnormal tissue. Cryotherapy damages the abnormal cells within skin lesions, killing them off and allowing the growth of new, healthier skin cells. The freezing only takes between 5 and 30 seconds, depending on the concern being targeted by treatment.

  • How does our Laser Hair Removal Work?
    The laser emits a light energy, which is then converted into heat. The melanin, the substance that gives the hair its colour, absorbs the laser light emitted which then destroys the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding tissue.

Some clients may need a top up session in the future. This is because some hair follicles can lay “dormant” or sometimes hair growth can be stimulated after pregnancy, menopause or taking certain medications for hormonal imbalances.
  • Is the treatment painful?
    Due to the high technology and it’s advanced Integrated skin cooling system, the Eneka PRO minimises the pain and protects the skin so the treatment is more comfortable and easily tolerated.
  • How many treatments are needed?
    On Average 7-10 sessions are needed. Some clients may need additional treatments depending on certain factors, for example hormonal imbalances. The number of sessions depends on the body area to be treated, colour and thickness of the hair, skin type and the specific features of each patient. After your 6th treatment if any additional sessions are required I offer a discounted single session price.   • Are there pre / post treatment recommendations?
    The days before the treatment, you should avoid the exposition to the sun, self-tanning and hair bleaching products. It is recommended to use total sun screening on the treated zone the days after the treatment and to not use other hair removal systems that eliminate the hair from the root.
  • What are the side effects?
    The treatment with Eneka PRO machine minimises the risks, that are reversible in a short period of time: skin reddening, residual or perifollicular erythema, that disappear in 24/72 hours after the treatment, if the instructions of the therapist are followed.
